Wake at the shrine ✶. Read the night's quota. You have five minutes — each one that passes wakes the house further, and when the clock runs out, something unkillable begins to walk. Scavenge what glitters and lay it on the shrine; when the quota is honoured, the gate ignites — walk it out, spend your coin at the Hub, and descend again. The Blacksmith turns ore, rope, and cloth into arms, light, bigger bags, and comically large armour — and buys back what you no longer need. Weapons wear with every blow. When you hear something you cannot fight, find a wardrobe, climb in, and be still.
The dark waits. It is patient.
